As we rebuilt it

Plumber — primaryDrainage serviceWater heater installation service

ACME Plumbing repairs leaks, clears drains and replaces water heaters for homes in Leander and Cedar Park. Same-day visits when we can, a price before the work starts, and a phone call if we are running late.

An example. ACME Plumbing is not a real business, and both versions of its profile are invented. A real rebuild starts from the profile Google holds for you.
03

A post goes up every week.

Each month’s posts wait in your account before the month starts. You approve or refuse each one. After the first month, a post you leave unanswered goes up.

ACME Plumbing · Leander

A water heater that pops or rumbles is usually telling you about sediment. Leander’s water is hard, and the minerals settle at the bottom of the tank. A flush takes under an hour and is the cheapest maintenance a heater ever gets — worth doing before the first cold week.

Your reviews get answered.

New reviews with words get a reply drafted, unless you answered first or chose otherwise. A complaint always waits for your yes. A good review is answered in your voice, unless you ask to approve those too. A person here reads every reply before it goes up. Your crew asks for reviews with a link they text from their own phones.

ACME Plumbing · Leander

They fixed the leak, but the plumber was two hours late and nobody called to say so.

The reply we drafted

Dana, thank you for telling us, and I am sorry we kept you waiting without a call — that is not how we want to run a job. We now phone ahead whenever we are more than fifteen minutes behind. If the repair gives you any trouble, call me directly.

The rules

The three that are decided in advance

The same words are in the contract and at checkout.

Minimum term

Three months on all recurring plans. The work takes that long to show a result. A one-month cancel means we did the expensive setup and proved nothing.

Free trial

Fourteen days free, with a card on file and nothing charged; the first payment is on day 15. Your card is charged only once we have Manager access to your profile. If we have not been given it by day 14, the trial ends on its own, unpaid, and nobody has to ask. The profile rebuild and everything we publish start at the first payment — or sooner, when you press Start now.

Cancellation

One click in the account, effective at the end of the current period. No phone call, no retention offer, no email to send twice. We remove our own Manager access from your profile at the same time.

Before you pay anyone

What nobody can promise you

Three things that are true of every company that offers to manage a Google profile, this one included.

A position

Nobody can promise where a business ranks on Google — Google says so itself — and we do not. What we promise is the work on this page, and a map that shows what it did.

That the profile costs money

A Google Business Profile is free, and you can manage yours yourself. The $199 a month pays for the work: the rebuild, the replies, the posts and the measuring.

That it is ever ours

The profile stays yours. You add us as a Manager — we never ask for a Google password — and we take ourselves off when your plan ends.

What else we sell
